Laps
No laps yet. Press Lap while the stopwatch is running to record one.

The TimerStart stopwatch runs in your browser: start it once, follow the elapsed time down to hundredths of a second, pause when you need to, and record a time for every lap. Use it for study sessions, practice tests, workouts or rehearsing a presentation.
How to use the stopwatch
- Start
The time starts counting up from 00:00:00.00. - Pause and Resume
Pause freezes the time; Resume continues from exactly where it stopped. - Lap
While the stopwatch is running, each press records a new lap. - Reset
While paused, Reset returns the time to zero and clears all laps. If laps were recorded, you are asked to confirm first.
Lap time and total time
Each lap row shows two values: the lap time is how long that lap took since the previous one, and the total time is how long the stopwatch has been running since you pressed Start. The newest lap is always at the top, so you can compare each section of a practice test or each lap of a run as you go.
Fullscreen
The fullscreen button shows the time in large digits and keeps the Start, Lap and Reset controls on screen. It works well for projecting in a classroom or reading from across the room. Entering or leaving fullscreen does not affect the time or your laps.
How accurate is it?
Instead of counting at fixed intervals, the stopwatch calculates elapsed time from the moment you started, using your device clock. That means switching to another tab does not lose time. Keep the page open, though: closing the tab or refreshing the page clears the time and laps.
